Hey!
This idea might make you cringe, but you should try Hot/Cold therapy.
After a cross-country, marathon, or extended exercise, relieve your aching muscles by spending one minute hot water (Shower or bath) then one minute in cold.
Trust me - it'll feel great after!

I don't do that. I usually have an ice-bath after a marathon or long cycle..
